How do I browse and shop?

Global Gear Online Shop offers a very simple online shopping experience, which will be familiar to customers who have shopped online. If you would like to view our prices and purchase items, you can simply register a member account and log into your account. Then, you can add any items to your Shopping Cart. My Basket is your running shopping bag of selections. Then, when you are ready to complete your purchase, simply click Checkout from Shopping Cart to fill in Billing Information and begin the payment process.
 
Can I specify the color(s) or fabric pattern(s) of wine pouches or totes as shown in product photos for my purchase?
All product photos are shown for illustration and reference purpose only. Choice of colors and fabric patterns is at our option and subject to stock availability.
 

How do I checkout and purchase my selections?

To begin the Checkout process and purchase the products in your Shopping Cart, click the Shopping Cart page or click Checkout from My Basket on the right menu wherever you browse in the Online Shop. You have to fill out the Checkout form where you may enter Billing and Shipping Information. You must ensure your shipping address is correct. The shipping address must be a street address.  Shipments cannot be delivered to post office box addresses.  Upon completing the Checkout form, you need to read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and choose a payment method. For customers outside Hong Kong, an Order Confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. This email will contain an order summary for your reference. If you process the payment via PayPal, you will receive Order Receipt to check your order and settle the payment for purchase.
 

What is PayPal?

PayPal is an online payment company that provides you a secure and easy way to settle payments to any merchant. Simply pay with your credit card without exposing your credit card number to the merchant. Plus, speed through checkout whenever you shop online.
 

I do not have a PayPal account. Can I pay by credit card for the purchase?

If you do not have a PayPal account and do not want to register for one, you can still use your credit card to make payment via PayPal payment gateway. When you place an order online, please click “Online Payment” as the payment method. The system will redirect you to the PayPal site. This site will show you how to process the payment.
 
How is my personal and credit card information protected during the payment process?
All information, such as personal data and credit card information, is protected by the most advanced 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the transmission of all your information during the payment process in PayPal payment gateway.
 
Is there a minimum order amount for the purchase?
Yes, the minimum order amount is US$600.00. This amount does not include shipping costs and duties.
 

Do you charge Duties?

Customers in Hong Kong:
You will not be charged any duties or taxes on products.
Customers outside Hong Kong:
For any net individual purchase amounts exceeding US$600.00, we will pay the import duties.
For net individual purchase amounts US$600.00 or below, you will need to pay import duties and taxes when your package arrives in your country.
 

My order is being rejected. What is the problem?

Orders on the Online Shop are normally rejected due to the one of three reasons:
The credit card has insufficient available credit to all the order to be processed OR
The billing address provided does not match the billing address associated with your credit card account OR
Credit card information provided does not match the information associated with your credit card account.
In the event that your order is rejected, you will be given the opportunity to place your order again, where you can either use a different credit card or revise your billing address or input correct credit card information.

2)Shipping & Handling
 

What if an item is out of stock?

If an item is out of stock, we will send email to inform you as soon as possible. You can either cancel your order or place the order for a later delivery date. We will provide an approximate time of when it will be in stock and sent out.


How to deliver the products to customer?

Customer undertakes to pay for all shipping fees. We will contact you by email regarding the delivery date and shipping fees. Shipping fees must be settled via PayPal 5 days before delivery. For local orders, we will ship via local courier service. For international orders, we will delivery via Hong Kong SpeedPost, Fedex or other international courier at our discretion.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping may vary. Most products are in stock and will be shipped out within 5 business days upon receipt full payment amount. Once items are dispatched, you will be able to trace your delivery online during the entire shipment. Here is the related website for tracing your items:

What is your Exchange policy?

Products sold are non-refundable.

We guarantee to replace a product if product has any imperfections due to a manufacturing defect. Replacements will only be accepted if the item was purchased through our online shop.

You must notify us by email within 10 days upon receipt of products for exchange. You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and mailing address from us. NO exchange will be offered without an RMA number. All personalized products are NOT returnable. Once you have obtained a RMA for your return:

Place the merchandise in a box with a copy of the invoice, if possible, and a short note explaining if you would like an exchange. If you would like an exchange, please indicate which item(s) you would like, along with product code. Also include any other information that may be relevant.

Seal your return securely, in its original condition including all accessories and packaging. All merchandise must be in original resalable condition. Send the box back within 10 days to us via insured mail. We shall not be responsible for any lost and uninsured package. You need to return the package by freight prepaid as we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
You will incur the original delivery charge, the cost of returning the product to us plus the new delivery charge for exchange. We will refund the original delivery charge and reimburse for the cost of return postage, if we have sent the wrong item or the item is defective.

3)Product Care
 

How do I care for the leather pouch and/or tote?

Any imperfections on the leather, including incidental marks, tonal differences or textural variances, should not be considered as defects but are characteristics of the skin in the tanning process.

The leather may have wrinkle where the wine pouch is packed. You may iron the leather covered with dry cloth on low heat setting and simply lay flat it on the table for a period of time to make the surface be smooth.

To maintain the leather clean, use a soft and dry cloth to wipe the products. Avoid getting it wet and over exposed to the light and heat. To protect the product when not in use, keep it in a dust cover in a cool and dry place.
